Question:

Vegetarian lunch and dinner ideas?

I'm not a vegetarian, but I'd like to cut back on meat a little bit. What are some good ideas for lunch and dinner? I'm 14, and I can cook, but nothing extremely difficult. Also, no fake meat products like tofu. My parents aren't going to buy that, and I don't really want to eat it, lol. Thanks! :)

  1. Eddamame, salads, fruit, yougurt, wheat.  try tofu.  done right, it's delicious

  2. go to micasitas(if you have one) they have excellent vegetarian mexican lunch and dinner plates

  3. well, my friend just told me about this recipe for like bean burgers, and its soo good! you take 2 cans of black beans, 1 can on rotel(sp) tomatoes, and mash it all up in a big bowl, then put some bread crumbs in with it too(so that it all sticks together) and then make lil patties out of them(it makes a lot, so you could just freeze them and reheat them later if you want) then just fry them for a lil in a pan.  you can also add salt or pepper or others spices but its still really good without them.

  4. Well my mums a vegetarian so i know how you feel, she normally eats salads, steamed vegetables and roast potatoes, it also depends if you live in Canada or England because in England you can buy something called Quorn its a chicken substitute it tastes like chicken but its not actually chicken. I hope this helps.
