Vegetarian meal?

Tomorrow I want to make a full 7 course vegetarian meal-- I just started doing vegetarian, and I'm out of ideas of what to eat. What would you suggest? I'm straying away from fruits because i've eaten so many lately.

Any ideas of what I could make tomorrow? (this is a lunch meal, and I don't have any interest in fake meat or tofu, or access to it, lol)

Thanks!

  1. You may have a stir fry noodle. Any noodle stir fry with all the vegetables you like such as red pepper, yellow pepper, mushroom, carrot, cabbage, then put little low salt soy sauce, finally add little bean sprout and ready to serve.I treat this to foreign friends and they all love it.Easy and quick. You many cook how much amount you like depends on how many people. Tired of spaghetti, this is a good substitution.

  2. Vegetarian lasagna!

    It's delicious.

All it has is noodles, cheese, tomatoe sauce, and a few vegies.

Look up the recipie online :)

  3. try corn ,spaghetti, pizza with mash room and vegetables, any soap with out meat , you can cook many meals with out meat just go to the market and you will get the ideas.

  4. search for indian foods on the net or jus google it u ll get loads of options which wud match ur taste bud and hey not all indian foods are spicy..u can go fusion also mixing ur taste

  5. Why no tofu? It's yummy.

    You could make Bocca Burgers!

  6. Are you lacto-ovo or vegan?

  7. Well if I were you I would do a good soup or salad and maybe some kind of delicious bread. Maybe you could do a hearty vegetable soup with a light earthy salad and some nice fresh bread with a spread.

  8. I Think You Need To Talk To A Nutritionist Because Your Body Needs Fruits, Vegetables, Meats... Everything On The Food Pyramid. It Could Be Unhealthy Just To Stick To One!

  9. Are you doing a vegan meal or can you incorporate eggs and milk?  If you can, I would suggest a veggie quiche, large salad, pasta salad, broiled portabello mushrooms with olive oil balsalmic vinegar and garlic, potato salad, baked beans, homemade rolls and some sort of dessert...

This isn't fancy but it's good lunch garb...  You don't have to make everything center around fruit and veggies just because you've gone vegetarian...

By the way bravo for choosing to be veggie!!  It's one of the best things that we can do for the environment, ourselves and animals!!  :)

  10. Well for one thing,  I think a quiche would be a nice addition for one of the courses.  There are recipes on line and it's really delicious.  Of course a big tossed salad is indispensable...the possibilities for additions to that are endless.  A french onion soup with garlic croutons is another good addition..  You can buy little hor'derves made from spinich, cheese and potatoes that are delicious too. A raw veggie platter with an easy vegetable dip usually goes over big too.

  11. I suggest you make a salad, or salad burgers you will have a good meal

  12. Beans and rice are great (filling and they have protien if you eat them together)  Brown rice is best.

  16. I was a vegetarian for a few years and I came up with several neat recipes. I especially loved bruschetta with canned tomatoes and goat cheese on slices of bread. There is also ravioli stuffed with spinach that you can buy, very delicious. Home made spinach dip is also good too. I really loved buying big pizzas with four cheeses and adding any ingredients I wanted. Some examples could be onions, spinach, pesto, goat cheese, mushrooms, garlic, etc. It's really all about being creative and not eating the same thing all the time.

  17. Wow...You want a 7 course vegetarian meal without fake meat, tofu, or fruit...

1rst course:  salad with raw vegetables and dark greens

2nd course:  peanut butter on a whole wheat cracker

3rd course:  hard boiled egg with a dash of salt

4th course:  1 oreo cookie, twist and l**k

5th course:  1 glass of soy milk to rinse down the cookie

6th course:  1/2 cup of your choice of beans (for protein)

7th course:  a stick of your favorite chewing gum...

That's the best I could do... I have never in my life heard of a 7 course lunch.  I hope your kidding.
