Vegetarian meals at Cracker Barrel?

I was wondering if anyone ever went to have dinner at Cracker Barrel. I've been a vegetarian for many years and just got an invitation to have dinner there. Is there any possibility for me? Thanks for your replies!

my boyfriend is a vegarian and we ate at Cracker Barrel like a month ago. I think he ended up ordering fish or some sort of pasta. There isn't really a good selection for veggies there, but their vegetable soup is pretty is good.

Yes, they offer a vegetable plate where you can get three or four veggies.

I would recommend the following, since they are not cooked with animal products:   Fried Okra,  Baby Carrots, Side Salad, Fried Apples, Whole Kernel Corn, Cole Slaw, Steak Fries , or Mashed Potatoes.  

The turnips, pinto beans and green beans all have "side meat" - in other words they are cooked with meat in them.

Not sure about the dumplins - they might be cooked with chicken though.

If you are a die-hard vegetarian, you will want to avoid the MAc and Cheese also, since it is dairy and the hashbrown casserole for the same reason.

I've gone with a Veg. friend several times.  He either gets breakfast or a veggie plate.  If we are in a new restaurant, he'll ask how the veggies are prepared to see if meat is used or not.  I think you'll be ok at CB.  If you don't eat eggs, the biscuits are good!

They serve breakfast all day. You would be pretty safe with eggs and hasbrowns. But if not, just call them before hand and ask them which meals are completley free of meat.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Why wouldn't there be?

I eat there all the time, and I'm vegan. I never have problems finding full meals at resturants.
