  1. actually you don't really need beans in a vegetarian diet haha

you could try vegetarian hot dogs, tofu, vegetarian corn dogs, vegan cheese..and more

    want more info?

    go to peta2.org

  2. Try Nutrition Express.com.They have high quality protein  powders and ready to drink supplements.

  3. soy is a very good source of protein...i think...

  4. Soy, Tofu, Milk, Chick Peas, Nuts,

  5. hey I'm a vegetarian and I am pretty sure you dont have to eat just beans if you want protein, if you like dairy your in good shape bc the ammount of protien you need in a day to sty healthy is in three yogurts! Really if you drink a glass of milk a couple peices of cheese and a yogurt plus vegetables your fine :) def go for it! You feel so much better health wise! Way less groggy and weighed down.

  6. Well, they have Morningstar Black Bean veggie patties.  They don't taste like beans and are delicious between a bun with cheese and veggies!

Also, try tofu products.  Fried tofu, boiled tofu, miso soup, or other morningstar farms like products that are vegan and found at your local grocery store!

  7. rich sources of non-animal protein include legumes, nuts, seeds, yeast, and freshwater algae. Although food yeasts ("nutritional yeast" and "brewer’s yeast") do not lend themselves to forming the center of one's diet, they are extremely nutritious additions to most menus (in soups, gravies, breads, casseroles, and dips). Most yeasts get about 50 percent of their calories from protein.

  8. Soy! Lovely soy! Unfortunately it does not have a complete chain of amino acids, but it's the highest-quality protein a vegetarian can get.

  9. When you say you hate beans, do you mean you have tried all different types of beans and hate them all? Have you tried fava beans? How about Lima beans? What about lentils, they're beans? Black beans? Green beans? Kidney beans? There are many different types of beans with many different tastes, and interesting recipes can be prepared using different types, many where you do not even know a main ingredient is some type of bean. Look for some interesting vegetarian or vegan recipe books and you will be surprised at what you can find. One to try is the Cafe Flora Cookbook (Cafe Flora is a great vegan restaurant in Seattle).

Among vegans and other vegetarians, tofu is probably the primary source of protein.

  10. try soy beans/tofu/chickpeas/dhall

All can be found in Asian produce section

  11. pasta has triple the protein than any meat product.

  12. tofu is a good source. it's made of soybeans, but you cant really tell. it's just kind of bland. dont go "veggo" just because you think it's cool or because your friends are doing it. it's a hard lifestyle, you have to keep up with your food groups and daily intake. it can cause nutrient deficiencies if you dont do it right.

think it over and make sure its right for you before you go around telling people you're veggo, and then back out of it a month later. come on, are you really going to be able to resist a nice juicy steak? i know youre a guy but... as jessica simpson says, "real girls eat meat" :)

  13. For every animal you dont eat. I will eat 3. One for me. One for you. And one just out of spite. In fact, I hope PETA saves as many animals as they can, because dinners coming up and I cant wait to eat!

  14. you can go to a heath store and buy iron pills theyr verry good. Also if you go to a special health store you can buy special pans that are made of iron and cook your vegetables in there. There are also pills you can buy at the health store that have  all the vitamins from meat. Being a vegetarian i very hard on your body and its also high maintennance you have to be constantly taking pills and cooking all sorts of tentals and esparigus and brussel sprouts and stuff! if you google it then you can get websites that tell you all the foods that are good for vitamins that are in meats

    hope tis helps! :)

  15. why are you going veggo?

im veggo, but i have been all of my life..

i wouldnt eat anything non veggo when i was a baby..and i just never liked it..so thats why im one

but i get protein, and iron and all of that stuff

but i have no idea from what

    i dont take supplements

    but like i said

    im completely healthy

and i dont know why or how
