Question:

Vegetarianism? Would you subscribe to it?

I'm vegetarian [no meat (that includes fish) except egg], and I know I may not get enough protein, but basically it's more healthy in every other way.

I was just wondering, given the choice, would you become a vegetarian [lifelong vegetarianism]? No racist/offensive answers please.

  1. no.i would always stick to eating meat

  2. i would! in fact, i did a while ago =)

being a vegetarian is great.....i definitely don't plan on stopping.

  3. Nope. It's all part of a well rounded diet. But everyone has a choice and i wish you well. To get more protein, eat eggs, tofu, beans, dairy products. All the best.

  4. No subscription necessary.  I'm already vegan.

  5. It's pretty easy to get enough protein on a vegetarian diet. Good sources include almonds, black beans, cashews, garbanzo beans (chickpeas), fake meats, kidney beans, lentils, peanut butter, pinto beans, seitan, soybeans, soymilk, sunflower seeds, textured vegetable protein (TVP), and tofu.

Anyway, to answer your question, I'm already vegetarian and can't imagine going back to eating meat.

  6. If you are not born a vegetarian you cannot be a lifelong vegetarian.

Thats a bit elitist to me, why would a lifelong vegetarian be a club i'd want to subscribe to when its impossible ?

I'm not responsible for my upbringing.

  7. Comments like "I know I may not get enough protein" is what fuels the fires.  If you choose not to eat things with enough then that is your choice.  I get plenty of protein from whole grains, soy products, nuts and almost everything else I eat.

  8. no, cows and pigs are way too yummy.  but i respect your choice.

  9. no
