Vegetarians - Do you take supplements?

I've been a vegetarian since i was about 7, i'm 19 now and have only just started taking zinc and iron tablets today because i feel my body really needs this stuff.

I have a few of the deficiency symptoms. Problem is i don't really eat a lot of food generally, so it's hard for me to get all the nutrients i need from eating them in their natural form.

Do you take any? Which ones?

  1. One a day womens multivitamin


  2. i take some vegetarian multivitamins i buy them at the gnc

  3. I just take a daily multivitamin by Nature Made to make sure I get enough iron

  4. I take Deva's vegan multi.  I try to get what I need from food, but I know my diet is not exactly perfect every day.

  5. I take B12 because I am eating vegan.

  6. Calcium supplements.

    As you say, you don't eat enough food.

    There is no substitute for proper food.
