  1. I was born vegan. Later I researched it and found out it was way healthier than a meat diet and the Bible promotes it. Look at it this way, out first parents were vegans! God bless.

  2. They're all crazy. By being a Veg/Vegan you're not going to save animals. God gave us animals to sustain life, we need meat in our diet. By the by "Vegetarian" is the Indian word meaning "lousy hunter."

  3. Would you eat a rat burger?

If not than why would anyone eat a cow burger?

When you really think about it, its very disgusting.

  4. www.meat.org!

  5. It started out because of ethical reasons, after I watched "Meet you meat". As an animal lover, it wasn't possible to deny the suffering that I didn't wish to contribute to.  I'm still a vegetarian to this day, but not necessarily for ethical reasons. I'm used to this lifestyle, I'm not an animal rights activist anymore. I still care about animals but it just isn't realistic to expect everyone else to be a vegetarian. Everyone's body works differently, believe it or not. A lot of people couldn't handle  a  vegetarian diet.

  6. I became vegetarian cuz i just lost a taste for meat. I don't like it. as far as why should others?... I don't care if others eat meat or not. I just don't eat it cuz i don't like it. It's not my problem if others eat it or not. I could care less.

  7. Primarily because it is wrong to kill an animal against its will just to eat.  Don't we have plenty of other stuff to eat?

Imagine killing and eating your pet for dinner.  Could you do it???

  8. Been one off and on for years.  I first started 30 years ago - the 'thing to do' - 70's and all (and there goes the 'thumbs down' with that comment).

I am one now for basic simple reasons - with no thought of change - for a simple reason.  Meat has a negative reaction with my stomach when taking my epilepsy medication.

Not liking seizures - giving up meat was not a hard thing to do so that I could take the med's without getting sick to my stomach all the time.

  9. I did because of the fact that most food establishments are cruel to the animals.

    Cruelty to animals is horrible.

=] thats why everyone should go veg!

  10. Well I became a veggitarian because of what I found out what was in the meat, not so much as to what they do to the animals [but at the same time, they could be less..violent as to how they go about killing them] but what really got me to switch to veggitarian was the thought of all the stuff that we have in our system from all the chemicals hormones and such they use to get the animals to develope sooner [obviously so they can use them faster] like as soon as i started to catch onto the lifestyle of a veggitarian, i lost weight, my skin was clearer, i was happier and i had so much more energy.

  11. vegan
