  1. its not welsh rabbit its welsh rarebit  Its basically a fancy name for cheese on toast but cheese head is a fancy name for a terrine of meat usually made with the head of a cow or sheep. so veggies can eat welsh rarebit but don't think they would fancy cow head

  2. Welsh rabbit by itself does not contain meat.

Head cheese is actually meat and includes several animal organs.

Wheat meat is a vegan substitute for meat, made of seitan.

  3. Welsh Rabbit came about because back in the 18th Century the Welsh were too poor to afford meat.  In England the poor man's meat was Rabbit. Cheese was called the poor man's meat in Wales.  In more recent times, some have stressed the use of the term "Welsh Rarebit" to stress that it is not in fact rabbit meat.

Head cheese is not cheese at all.  It's made up of several parts of an animals head.

Wheat meat, also called seitan, and wheat gluten is made from the wheat protein that's responsible for making bread elastic and doughy.
