Vegetarians do you like to eat at Panda Express?

Question

I went there and ate spring veggie egg rolls and veg. chow mein and fried rice. They say they only cook in veg. oil. Well, I looked on the internet and they use a chicken based flavor enhancer in all there food. I was sick to hear this, as I have been a vegitarian for 48 years.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I've been eating their vege spring rolls too! They have some nerve. Im vegan btw. That is complete b.s. Buh bye Panda Express. Never again.  Thanks for posting this otherwise I would have never known. Learn something new everday I guess.

I my area they just opened up. I like you wnet on line~~~ I too was very disappointed that EVERYthing but the White Steamed Rice was made with Chicken Based Broth.

Most Chinese restaurants use chicken broth to cook with.  I found out by asking when I became vegetarian.  Always ask questions and do your research : )

Nope.  I found out not long after I went veg that they cook everything in chicken broth.  They even admit as much on their website that nothing they make is suitable for vegetarians.

I'm really sorry you didn't know this ahead of time.
