  1. Sure. Start out with getting lean forms of protein.

Chicken is very good and high in protein, so is turkey. Start with those.

  2. Besides the things on the first list, buy tofu and meat substitutes like boca burgers and morning star foods, in the frozen section.

  3. Hello. I am a strict vegetarian and this is my list:

    1. Tofu, this is to give you a good source of protein

    2. Beans and rice for a complete protein

    3. Quinoa is another great source of protein

    4. Bagged Spinach to get iron

    5. Meatless meat options such as veggie burgers.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me!!

I hope i can help. Good luck!!

  4. raw spinach, almonds, salad mix, tofu, veggie burgers, veggie chicken strips, whole wheat hamburger buns, natural peanut butter, chopped veggies, soymilk, organic eggs, whole wheat rice, and black beans

  5. Congrats on going vegetarian!

The Vegetarian Society suggest you buy these foods:

    Vegetarian 'essentials' are-

    -beans/pulses

    -nuts/seeds- such as almonds

    -soy milk!

-LOTS of fresh fruits and vegetables

    -wholemeal bread

    -fortified breakfast cereal

-meat alternatives are not essential, but you may find it easier to transfer to vegetarianism if you include them.

It's good to eat a combination of different proteins throughout the day. Enjoy a varied diet. A vegetarian diet is suitable for all ages, so it doesn't matter how old you are.
