Vegetarians? no life? ?

Why do some people think vegetarians got no life?

Some people think that because some people have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

Because for some people, eating meat is so important, that it could be considered (in some odd, slightly-exaggerated way) their life. They think meat makes life better... enough so, that they criticize people who don't have this plus in their lives.

Or because they're prejudiced and want everyone to think like them.

But I think it's meant positively (oddly enough). They find meat so good, that anyone who doesn't have meat in their lives is missing something and these meat-eaters are just trying to "show them the light"... granted, saying someone "doesn't have a life" is kinda harsh, but some people are just like that. *sigh*

(I like meat sometimes, but generally avoid it)

k, im a veg and i love to go out with friends and have a great time. what you eat has no effect on your social life if thats what your implying. We actually tend to have more energy so can therefore have MORE fun. People will always say this cuz the majority ofpeople doeat meat, so, they tend to critisize the minority. Sorry, your assumption was way off, we are humans beings, sorry if that shocks you.

I personally think vegetarianism is messed up, and veganism is downright demented. But even I've never thought that vegetarians have no life. In fact many of them likely have a more exciting life than me.

I agree with Angelschild; to some people, eating meat is so important that they pity those who don't.

I guess I can sympathize.  I mean, I'm sort of shocked when I meet someone who doesn't like chocolate, and believe they're missing out on one of the finer things in life.
