Question:

Vegetarians??

i'm trying to loose weight...what are some foods that i can get from the grocery store to eat as meals and/or snacks???

tofu

egg whites

veggies

apple sauce

what else????!!!

PS: i eat fish & turkey & i sometimes drink milk

  1. I would say stop eating the fish and turkey. Turn to soy, legumes, salads, things low in fats and calories.


  2. if you eat fish and turkey your not a vegetarian but since you sound like your doing it more for your health atleast your making an effort and you can drink milk only ovo-vegetarians and vegans dont take dairy products

  3. sorry idk if youre counting yourself as veggie but you arent if you eat fish and turkey, that would just make you a healthy eater, not vegetarian...im quite picky over this because i had a friend who preached about being veggie for 2 years and then I found out she ate chicken but 'didnt count that' :p

    anywayy, you could get cereal bars for snacks, spaghetti, soups, like that for dinner.

    being veggie is much easier than being vegan :)

  4. rice cakes are great snacks! 35-65 cals each!

    also  for meals buy veggie burgers so you can make your own burgers, the patty is like 140 cals. Also bagels with hummus is a yummy healthy option. Vegetarian ftw! =D

  5. Your diet isn't vegetarian as they do not consume animals, but it's good that you are moving in a healthy direction. I would say add some nuts (a small handful is good for you), fresh fruit, Lara Bars, popcorn, hummus and pita chips, veggie burgers, salads, baked potatoes, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.
