  1. My eating habits tend to be very much on the carnivorous side- But I do have vegetarian friends. And in fact one is a lady who had to become vegetarian because there is something in most meats that will make her deathly ill.

If you're healthy and happy as a vegetarian, stick with it! Your friends will applaud you, and the rest don't matter.

    Go for it!

  2. You are vegetarian because something told you it was best for you. Dont let others tell you what you need to do. I have been a vegetarian since I was 17(12 years). I will always be. Sure people have given me h**l and still do sometimes. But my true friends and family accept it as part of me. I became vegetarian because I was shocked by the way animals are treated and was grossed out by eating it. I think it is important not to judge meat eaters just as yuou dont want them to judge you. Check out peta.com for more advice and info! Good luck and email me if you ever need anything!

  3. Please don't take my advice*! But also - do not take anyone else's advice especially not the idiots whom keep keep teasing you by trying to get you to eat meat.

This is your own personal choice to make, so make it based upon what is important to you. For example, is eating what your friends eat more important to you than the slaughter of a few innocent animals? -- this is your dilemma, I don't think most meat eater like killing animals - I think they just try not to concern themselves too much with it

  4. Here are some web sites with some great vegan/vegetarian food.

http://silksoymilk.com -chocolate and chai flavors are good

    http://amys.com

    http://organicfoodbar.com

    http://gardenburger.com

    http://yvesveggie.com

    http://sunshineburger.com

    http://rightfoods.com

    http://veganstore.com -they have chocolate!

    http://nakedjuice.com

    http://www.cedarsfoods.com/

If you have a dog here is a site to get vegan dog food: http://www.v-dogfood.com/

    Here are some good recipes:

Stir fry- You need cut up tofu, soy sauce, olive oil, steamed veggies, and cooked rice

Get a frying pan and coat it with olive oil. The put the tofu in the pan and brown each side of it. Next, add the veggies. Add a little soy sauce and put in the rice. Mix everything up and then let it sit on the stove, occasionally stirring it to make sure it doesn't burn. After about a minute and a half of that put it in a bowl and enjoy!

Hummus- chick peas, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and any other spices/seasonings you like

Puree the chick peas. Then add a little lemon juice, paprika, pepper, and other spices. Then stir. Serve with a pita, with cucumbers, or on a veggie wrap.

Here are some snack and dinner suggestions:

    Apples with peanut butter

    Pita with hummus

    Raisins

    Fruit Leather

    Silk Chocolate Soy Milk

    Naked Juice

    Apple chips

    Dinners:

Whole foods is a great store for vegetarians/vegans, so I recommend grocery shopping there. You also can get a lot of the things I listed above there.

  5. I think if you really can't avoid NOT EATING MEAT at all because of people around you, I think you can stop being a veggie but just try your best to avoid any meat or just have a little.

  6. They are just being mean and tempting you. When they offer you pork, visualize a happy little pig. When they offer you beef, visualize a happy cow, etc.; then visualize it being killed and choped up.
