  1. What the-

I didn't know that some of us don't wear silk. I just don't eat animal.

  2. Vegans don't wear silk. Some vegetarians might.

It's really hard to think of an ethical question regarding veg*nism that veg*ns haven't already considered. I'd give it up.

  3. It's vegans who don't use or wear any type of animal products.  Vegetarians just don't eat meat.  A simple google could have saved you from asking a silly question, dear:)

  4. nope and its wear,btw.

  5. I don't wear silk because of the points already covered.

Just to bulk it out a bit, I'll add that the worms are usually chemically burned off the silk, they're considered as 'impurities' like they were specks of dirt or something. It's vile what people will do for money, clothing, food etc.

  6. all the vegetarians were silk .they no but they were silk.because it gives

    it gives rich look

    it gives immunity

  7. I don't wear silk because it wrinkles, not because of my eating habits. Plus, I still wear my old leather jacket that I got a year before I went veg and I have no problem with this as well. For me vegetarianism is about eating. I just don't want the nasty stuff IN me, I can cope with wearing it. ^^

  8. Yes, you're right about silk killing the worms, although there is "peace silk," made of the cocoons left after the moth has broken from the cocoon.  But considering the vast majority of animals exploited are for food, I'd argue that being vegetarian or vegan does a lot more to avoid animal exploitation than picking at people for not being perfect.

  9. Some do. Some don't. Vegetarianism is a diet and has nothing to do with clothing. That would be an ethics issue and not all vegetarians are such due to ethical issues.

  10. i certainly don't EAT silk

  11. If I were silk I'd either be from a worm or else a cocoon!  You must've ment wear! I'm vegetarian and not wearing silk!  Some silk comes from Caterpillars!  The cocoon!  After the butterfly leaves it.. Usually the cocoon is abandoned!    I tried silk  too slippery or too clingy.. I don't like it!

  12. You are right...

    Some do were..

    But strict ones, do....

    I've not yet worn silk..
