Veggi/Vegan Restaurants in OC area??

Question

I know of a lot already but want to discover the sneaky ones that i drive pass all the time and didn't even KNOW we're meat free.

grahhhhh!!!! craving healthy delicious food ASAP!

oh and has anyone tried that fast food vegan drive through in Pasadena?? Bombass burritos.

Check out www.happycow.net or www.vegdining.com to find vegetarian restaurants all over California.  Actually, they list veg and veg-friendly restaurants all over the WORLD.

If you're ever in Venice Beach, check out Good Karma--awesome vegan fast food from a little hole in the wall (literally).  When I visit L.A. again, I hope I can go back there.

I forgot the specific name but there is a Vietnamese restaruant in Orangethorpe that serves vegetarian dishes. I guess that's your best bet.

I live in Orange County (Mission Viejo, to be exact) and there are plenty of delicious vegan and vegetarian friendly restaruants around here :)

One of my favorite international vegetarian restaraunts is Lotus Vegetarian Cafe. It's Chinese, but they use veggie beef and Sweet and Sour "Pork" made with wheat gluten. It's so delicous!!

Another international favorite is Daphne's Greek Cafe. It is also very vegetarian friendly and their salads are amazing! Plus they offer takeout :) They have various locations but the one I go to is in the Aliso Viejo Town Center, right next to Barnes and Noble and the Edwards Movie Theater.

One of my other favorites is Cafe Zinc in Laguna Beach. It is 100% vegetarian and you can even bring your dog to dine with you! They have outside patios and I always love grabbing a bit to eat with my Chihuahua/Terrier mix :)

For breakfast I love going to Lulu's Creperie Cafe in Laguna Hills. It is a small restaraunt and the lady who owns it (and works there) is from France. It is extremely vegetarian friendly and their crepes are to die for! Yum yum :) But if you are stopping by for lunch, I suggest their veggie sandwich. It comes with a side of french fries that are super yummy, but you can get homemade potato salad if you want instead.

And of course, you can always try Mother's Market if you run out of options. They are a vegan store that is located in many different places in Orange County.
