Veggie delite from subway?

Question

if i get a 6 inch veggie delite on italian with swiss cheese, jalapeno peppers and lettuce, around how many calories would that be? someone told me it's almost 300 calories even without the cheese. but i wanted to be sure. and is it healthy?

Get a subway veggie wrap they are less calories i think and they are cheaper !

Subway isn't even considered "fast food", it's a sandwich chain...

300 calories seems a little light, but it's definitely healthy for you... If you got it without cheese it would be a little less though, I imagine the cheese would have as many calories as the rest.

But if you're going to be spending the money at subway, get something more filling... get a turkey sandwich with light mayo and you'll be fine... it will fill you up, it's healthy, and the price is the same.

I'd say get it on whole wheat but they just have regular wheat there. Regardless, get it on wheat. I believe without the cheese it is 230 calories. Add a piece of cheese - about 80. So we are about about 300. If you add oil and vinegar or mayonaise, add about 100 more. It is healthy compared to other fast food places so don't feel bad. Jared eats them!

its not unhealthy, the italian bread is white bread so it doesnt have much nutritional value to it. but calorie wise you are looking good, its under 300 for sure (unless you get mayonaise or other high calorie dressings on it). you can find the exact nutritional values at subway.com im sure.

since when is c**p fast food healthy?   if you want a veggie sub.. go to the grocer's produce section and get fresh.

make your own.

and it's not a  veggie sub when it's loaded with diary.   and it's more than  300 calories... that sub  is more or less around 660 calories.
