  1. Roasted marshmallows =D

  2. I have been a vegan since birth, I really don't miss anything.  However there are certain foods that I see that look oooh so delicious.

I think that if I were to miss anything it would be cheesecake.   I mean you can make it with Tofutti, however it still doesn't look as tempting ans rich as the big chocolate mousse cheesecakes I see on dessert carts.

  3. nothing.  just the thought of putting a dead animal that suffered in my mouth is pretty revolting. now that i know what i was eating i certainly don't miss it.  why would you eat meat again if it was the last day on earth?  i still wouldn't want it.  i've found enough soy versions to replace the meat meals i liked and a tonnnn of new foods and cuisines that i love now.  and whether it's today, tommorrow, or the last day, the animal still suffered to get there!

  4. i miss mcdonald fries, they are cooked with beef for anyone who didnt know, i checked their site

  5. I don't miss any meat products at all. Actually, they really just make me sick to my stomach now. But I do miss BBQ Baked Layes. I found out shortly after becoming a vegetarian that they have Chicken Fat in them. Gross.

  6. I miss salmon teriyaki, it used to be my favorite food, but hey I can still eat the teriyaki sauce! (I think)

  7. not meat..

i used to love white rice with cream of mushroom soup with cheese on it.. but it has saved me a lot of calories!!

  8. What I miss the most is Peeps (the little Easter marshmallow candies) and Frosted Mini Wheats.

I don't miss meat at all.

  9. Actually none.  There's a vegan version of everything. Just keep going at it and you'll start to feel the same.  Try some beef textured tofu, tofu steak, hearty tempeh, seitan or Portabella mushrooms.  There are lots of ways to mock a burger.

They make vegetarian jerky that taste awesome. Check out these sites:

You can find mock meats, vegan chocolate, vegan gummy bears, vegan gum,  vegan jerky,  vegan marshmellows,  just about anything you like

in those sites.  Don't let your vegetarianism feel like a prison to you. Have fun with it.  Good Luck.

  10. Fried chicken and BBQ ribs. I feel guilty about saying it but its true.

  11. I don’t really miss anything.  I can eat Lay’s original chips-  I liked the ranch and the cheese, cheetos too-  but I’m good with regular Lays, Tostitos and blue chips.  I love soy ice cream-  it’s wonderful!  Amy’s soy mac & cheese is good.  Those are my cravings.  I don’t miss meat at all.  I think I’m going to miss marshmallows but it’s not that big of a deal.  Oh, and rice chocolate bars and soy chocolate milk take care of my chocolate cravings!

  12. Honestly, the last thing I would want to eat wouldn't involve animal products. I'd bake my delicious VEGAN chocolate chip cookies, lemon cookies, as well as my key lime pie with some vanilla soy ice cream. And top everything off with some of my homemade coconut whipped creme.

    That sounds good right now!

  13. i never was really a beef person but i guess just because its America and eat so much of it ground beef in burgers , ham and chicken.... but then I think it through and realize i am a better person without eating animals so i just think of the animals i save buy not eating them and try to find meat substitutes

  14. velveeta macaroni and cheese

i dont miss any actual meat tho, thats just way to repulsing of a concept

  15. I don't miss any animal products.  I haven't had any for over a year.  I am so used to what I do eat now.  The thought of meat makes me gag.  All I think of when I think of meat is rotting smelly flesh covered in flies.  I also think of the way the animals must sound when they are being slaughtered...or the way a baby calf calls for its mother when it is being taken away from her...and the way she calls for her baby for days.

I know way too much about the meat industry to miss meat.  I have too many things that are vegan that I love to want anything non-vegan.

    Everyone is different though.

  16. I've never had the slightest desire for meat since I realised what it was - dead bodies, yuck.

I didn't really like the taste of most meats, and I love all the fake meats.  I love all vegan food.

The only things I've wished I could replicate the taste of are corned beef hash, and tuna.

Since becoming vegan I miss the scambled tofu I used to make which contained cheese, and I miss egg sandwiches.  Also miss the vegetarian fake chicken nuggets I bought (which contain egg).

  17. I don't really "miss" any foods at all from day to day, but sometimes when I see certain foods I will want them at the time-- like cheese, doughnuts, cake and candy.  I know I can get vegan versions of all these things, but when they're right in front of me at the office...  One thing  I have never missed at all is meat itself.  It doesn't bother me to look at it most of the time, but the idea of actually eating it... no way.

  18. I dont miss eating anything, but every once in a while I will just think "aaaah a small little steak with some mashed potatoes would be delicious right now"

but then I realize how disgusting that would really be so I just go and get out the good ol soy sausages for my mashed potatoes.
