Vegitarian, protein?

ok, im recently went vegirarian (about a month or so, give or take a few days) and i was wondering how much protein i should consume per. day, like, whats the healthy amount, since i dont get that protein from the meat anymore...

  2. The average amount of protein you should get daily would be about the amount in a piece of meat (about 30 grams per day)  A great way to get protien is apricots and papaya! They contain about 10 grams each. Have a nice day, and THE ANIMALS SAY THANK YOU!!!!

  4. Well one word vegetables and fruit.  like water melon carrot and banana's with some ice and some milk blend them together. It really work.

  5. Eat lots of legumes, 1/8 cup of raw nuts and seeds every day, and a huge variety of greens and veggies and whole grains.

  6. mornings - eggs(1 to 2)

    lunch - mushrooms(20 to 30)

    dinner - beans(a bowl size)

    snaking - peanuts,any other types of nuts

    (handful or 1/2 handful)

  7. calculate your weight in kg (to convert from pounds to kg, divide by 2.2).  Whatever your weight is in kg, it that many grams of protein per day.

    Good sources of protein are:

    eggs

    peanut butter

    tofu

    soy substitute

    cottage cheese

    beans

  8. I am the same way.  I do not eat meat.  I think that milk and soy milk give you a lot of protein.
