I have converting over to becoming a vegetarian for over a month now, I haven't consumed any meat but I love fish and wanted to know if i did decide to eat fish (only) would i no longer be considered a Vegetarian and does anyone know of any good alternatives to fish. Along with that I also love cheese products and is there anyway I can get an alternative to those as well? I really need to know! Am I also supposed to be checking the ingredients in the food I eat or is that something only Vegans have to do? I'm just a lil confused. Last thing what do you guys think of Kosher food? its supposed to be killed humanly is eating that kind of meat okay? Let me know! Thanks :)

  1. Vegitarians dont eat any kind of meat even shellfish

Peskitarians dont eat meat except for fish

Vegans dont have any animal products

so you dont need to chuck the milk or eggs....but u do need to chuck the fish

Kosher is killed by draining the blood from a cut in the neck slowly, it is not humane or animal friendly and it takes a long time for the aminal to die. Halaol meat is not humane either it is killed in the same way.

    try free range stuff maybe?

you have to get enough iron which is usally in red meat, or you will become anaemic and not be able to carry enough oxygen around your blood and will always feel tired, so take an iron suppliment and eat spinch sometimes, my ex was a veggie and he had anaemia he was always tired and forgetting things

  2. Don't nuts   like walnuts have omega 3 in it just like fish. Eat walnuts.

  3. if you still eat fish, you would be considered a pescatarian. and vegetarians can eat cheese products, only vegans can't.

  4. Well To answer your first question if you were to eat fish you would no longer be a vegetarian. You'd be a pescatarian. As for fish alternatives i'm not sure. I've never seen any so I guess you can get over fish or eat it and be a pescatarian. If your a vegetarian it's okay to eat dairy products like cheese but if you wish to be only and ovo-vegetarian (Only eggs) there are altrenatives to cheese like "Follow your heart" brand and a few other good ones. You should check the labels if you don't wish to take in dairy cause many things have dairy in them but if you become a lacto-ovo vegetarian (Dairy and eggs are allowed) you really don't have to unless it's something that may have gelatin in it, like jello and many candies. I've never been to Krogers but I hear it's a very good place to shop for vegetarian/veg@n foods. And fyi nothing is killed humanly, so no, if you wish to be a vegetarian it wouldn't be okay. Hope I helped :) Good Luck!

  5. Yeah , you can't eat any meat. I do not know any alternatives to fish. Cheese well it's man made . I'm not sure on that one.Kosher, well, meat is meat. I'd seriously consider taking vitamins. I know a vegetarian from Bronx, New York & she is anemic , not good. She has to take vitamins every day. Please be careful! Your health comes first!!!

  6. get it down your neck

  7. my aunt is a vegitarian but she still eats dairy products and fish.

if ur under 16, its probably not good for u to become a true vegitarian.

until ur 16 or older, u should probably just stick to not eating meat, and then after u turn 16 u can turn into a true vegitarian, which is aperson, who doesnt eat anything that comes from an animal at all!   (:
