  1. she is a sometimes and selective vegan but she fits more on the vegetarian scale

  2. Fairy Princess WRONG

    These Lacto-ovo-vegetarian:

A vegetarian who eats both dairy products and eggs. This is the common type of vegetarians.

    - Ovo vegetarian:

A vegetarian who eats all egg products but no dairy.

    - Lacto vegetarian:

A vegetarian who eats all dairy products but no eggs.

    - Vegan:

A vegetarian who does not eat any animal products. Some vegans even do not use animal products such as wool, leather shoes, belt, & jacket, honey. Also called Pure Vegetarian or Strict Vegetarian.

    - Raw vegan:

A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius). “Raw foodists” believe that foods cooked above this temperature have lost a significant amount of their nutritional value and are harmful to the body.

    Well Yogurt=Milk

    Cheese=Milk

    Cream Cheese=Not Cheese/Milk

Bread=Living so she is not a Vegan

    Chocolate=Came from Plant

  3. Unless the yogurt, chocolate, breads and cream cheese contain vegan subsitutes, then she is not a vegan.

    Lacto-ovo- vegetarian

When most people think of vegetarians, they think of lacto-ovo-vegetarians. People who do not eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind, but do eat eggs and dairy products are lacto-ovo vegetarians (“lacto” comes from the Latin for milk, and “ovo” for egg).

Lacto-vegetarian is used to describe a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, but does eat dairy products.

Ovo-vegetarian refers to people who do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs.

    Vegan

Vegans do not eat meat of any kind and also do not eat eggs, dairy products, or processed foods containing these or other animal-derived ingredients such as gelatin. Many vegans also refrain from eating foods that are made using animal products that may not contain animal products in the finished process, such as sugar and some wines.

  4. I would have to agree that she is vegetarian. Possibly an ovarian vegetarian. Vegans eat no meat, eggs, milk, or anything that comes from an animal. Vegetarian eats no meat only. Vegetarians can be modified with lacto (No milk product) or ovarian (no egg). She cant be vegan because she eats cream from cheese. She eats egg in bread. And I assume she eats shortening in many pastries (from pig skin). Vegans are so strict that when britian took over india and started an army there, the indian army revolted, why? Because the gun powder envelope you tore open with your teeth was sealed with pig lard. They were so vegan that they wouldnt even put it in their mouth to spit out. Well your freind is a little confused but I think that she is kinda romantisized byt the whole vegan image but her tummy is not lol.

  5. It seems as if she has formed her own diet! Because a vegan is someone who doesn't eat dairy products, I.E. Yogurt cheese, cream cheese, milk chocolate (they can eat dark chocolate because it has no milk in it) and some breads.

A vegetarian is someone who eats everything except meat.

Some people call themselves Vegetarians when they don't eat land animals but they eat fish, this is not a Vegetarian, a fish is an animal and therefore is meat!

    Hope this helped! EllaJade

  6. i would say she isn't a vegan, because vegans do not eat yogurt.

  7. She's vegetarian, not vegan.

  8. She is vegatarian because VEGANS DON'T EAT ANYTHING THAT COMES FROM ANIMALS.

  9. There are a lot of different types of vegetarians, and I'd have to agree with the other answer only changing ovo to lacto (lacto-vegetarian)--this means that the she eats no meat or fish but still eats dairy products.  Also if she eats bread with egg in it then she'd be a lacto-ovo-vegetarian.  I know this is pretty confusing, but you really can't be vegan if you eat dairy and eggs.

  10. She is a vegitarian not a vegan

  11. She's a vegetarian...not a vegan. A Vegan is not just someone who restricts themselves regarding animal products in just their diet; being a vegan means restricting yourself of all animal produts...

  12. There are many different types of vegetarian.

    Here are the basic types:

    - Lacto-ovo vegetarian:

A vegetarian who eats both dairy products and eggs. This is the common type of vegetarians.

    - Ovo vegetarian:

A vegetarian who eats all egg products but no dairy.

    - Lacto vegetarian:

A vegetarian who eats all dairy products but no eggs.

    - Vegan:

A vegetarian who does not eat any animal products. Some vegans choose not to use animal products such as wool, leather, honey. (Also called Pure Vegetarian or Strict Vegetarian).

    - Raw vegan:

A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius). These people or “Raw foodists” as they may sometimes be called believe that foods cooked above this temperature have lost a significant amount of their nutritional value and are harmful to the body.

Although the important thing to remember is that there is no strict rule that you MUST follow when choosing to be a vegetarian or vegan. Some people, like your friend, may decide not to eat the pure form of dairy products i.e. milk but may choose to eat them in chocolate. It is completely up to the individual to decide what they want to eat.

I do hope this helped you a little bit :]

  13. i guess she is a vegetarian

  14. She a vegetarian trying to be a vegan.  If she eats things like bread and chocolate, then she's not a vegan, simple as :)

  15. She's not a vegan.

Vegans don't have chewing gum (contains animal product- gelatin), wont eat fries cooked in lard (animal product) or anything else that contains any animals or animal products....including milk, yogurt etc because obviously they are animal products.

So I'm siding with you =)

  16. Vegans cannot consume ANY animal by-products whatsoever. Your friend is a vegetarian.

  17. I really couldn't tell you- if she doesn't drink milk but eats cheese tha's kinda pointless :) but.. she seems in  the middle maybe? im sorry.. i really can't say.. :"(

  18. hmm.i'd say shes a vegetarian thats trying to be vegan. Vegan can have no dairy unless its soy milk. Explain that to her. A good website to show her is www.peta2.com

  19. She's not vegan. That's for sure.

    Cheese has milk.

    Milk is from animals.

    Not vegan.

Your friend must be an idiot.

  20. She is a vegetarian because vegans don't eat ANYTHING what so ever that comes from an animal. Maybe tell her to look up vegan in the dictionary so she understands why you are telling her she isn't a vegan.
