Vegitarian restruants???

Question

Are there any vegitarian restruants in downtown chicago or near there. Like so i could take a bus and train to?

I just turned vegitarian and i wanna go take my friends someplace.

This place is within 2 blocks of the Logan Square "El" stop of the O'Hare line, and has a great reputation. I have been there and it's quite nice. :-)

EDIT: Sun and Moon is relatively close to the Damen & North stop of the same train line. That area itself is a hub of restaurants & bars known as Wicker Park. Lula Cafe does have the better rep though.

Most of the menu at this restaurant is vegetarian, so there is bound to be something for everyone. The menu combines a number of different flavors, from Thai to Latin to European, in keeping with the 'world' vision of the owner, Gerty Leong. The Thai Chicken Roll-up is the most popular dish on the menu, but the veggie melt with dill Havarti cheese is also good. Indian & Chinese restaurants are a good bet too. They will have lots of vegetarian dishes. One of the things about becoming vegetarian is that you'll end up trying different cuisines and broadening your palate.
