Vehicle fumes, Trailer Tucks constant traffic on residentail street

Big Trailers, Big delivery Trucks and school Buses all this starts from about 4am in the morning and is constant all day, everyone on the street talks about it that something should be done, so I am taking it forward does anyone know where I can get help in getting help with steps to stop all this traffic on such a small street and the fumes are awful.

My best advice is that you contact your city's Engineering/Public Works or Planning department and ask that a traffic study be performed.  They will put out traffic counters and record the number of vehicles, average vehicle size, average speed, peak use, etc. and make determinations accordingly.  This is how roads are designated "Local Traffic Only," or "No Through Traffic," or "No Trucks."

You may be required to get signatures from your neighbors and others in the area requesting the traffic study.
