Vehicle inspection will it pass now?

i jst got the problem fixed today of why my check engine light was on i found the problem and got it fixed...can i got and get it inspected and will it pass...the guy at the inspection place said to drive atleast 200 miles b4 but the guy at midas said yea it should pass..wat should i do please help?

Different locations have different inspections.

In CA, we have a smog check that you can request without it being sent to the state. The test stops your vehicle from being branded as a "gross polluter" with the state.

Drive the vehicle for the 200mi that was suggested and check if your state has this optional inspection check.
