That is why Vela is convinced his team has turned a page and proved they can be better. The forward commented on the criticism his team received for their previous poor performances in the domestic league.
“Two weeks ago everyone was saying that Real were a bad team but now we’ve shown them the other side of the coin.”
The 23-year-old talked about the frustration that Real fans were experiencing with the club. He stated his team’s performances in the last two games were enough to give them the results they needed. Regardless, he said the fans are excited now and every

“In our previous two home games we played well and deserved more, but the fans were not entirely happy. Now we have dispelled a lot of doubts and are enjoying ourselves.”

“Things are balancing out and now we are not considered the best or the worst, but we try to do everything we can in the best way possible.”
Finally, Vela shared his thoughts on the upcoming match with Osasuna. He is hoping his side will register a good result that will put Real Sociedad on a much better position in the league.
“On Friday we have another good opportunity, at Anoeta against Osasuna, when we can get ourselves into a very good position.”
Real Sociedad are now in good shape and form. Two consecutive wins from their last two fixtures in the Primera Division have propelled them to the ninth position on the table.
