Venezuela???

I'm traveling to Venezuela this spring break (march19th) and I'm concerned that with the increasing tension between Venezuela and Colmbia that somthing might happen. The city in which I will be at is located in the central northern side. Should I be worried? What will happen?

  1. I would be aware of your surroundings while you are down there.  You may encounter some people that are not too kind to you but I wouldn't worried about being tortured!  In fact venezuela sponsors educational trips all the time for american students.  

    If you sense you are in danger find the nearest US embassy.

  2. You shouldn't be worried, this situation is just political. I'm a venezuelan lawyer and I know deep down to the bone. The true meaning of Chavez a Correa's purposes and believe mi they no better and any body else that neither  Venezuela or Ecuador are prepare money wise. Speaking about military equipment, Colombia is extremely more prepare in technology and in size. So my good friend enjoy your trip and be save try not to go out at nite a long always do things whit group of people never alone.  Be careful not to get robe.
