Ricardo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-c14281 Alvarez – 5
The Argentinean man has signed a contract with the Italian side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and he had the chance to impress the Italian fans. The new Argentinean coach trusted Ricardo Alvarez and tried to play him in the first team. He was also a new face for the Argentinean
starting line up. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Batista-c7379 didn’t have plans for Ricardo Alvarez in the Argentinean starting line up as well. Now with Sabella
in charge of the Argentinean national team, he played Ricardo Alvarez; however, it turned out to be a huge mistake as the first half ended. Ricardo Alvarez had a pathetic game for the Argentinean national team. He failed to impress throughout his time on the
pitch and he was rarely involved in any action as he failed to combine with the rest of the attacking force. Ricardo Alvarez featured on the right flank as Sabella played a 4-4-2. While Alvarez was failing to impress on the right flank, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 had to
fall deep to keep control of the game on his side of the pitch. On the other hand, Angel Di Maria took charge of things perfectly as he took control of the left flank. It was a poor performance by the new Inter Milan signing and that is the reason why Sabella
decided to substitute him right before the start of the second half.
Angel Di Maria – 7.5
The Real Madrid star had a phenomenal game on the left flank. Sabella played a traditional 4-4-2 for the Argentinean national side and it seemed to be working perfectly for the players. All the players were positioned perfectly except Ricardo Alvarez. Alvarez
featured in the right wing position and failed to impress while Angel Di Maria featured in his favourite left wing position and he was able to add a new dimension to not only the Argentinean defence; their midfield and also their attack. Di Maria tracked back
throughout the game to aid the team in defence and he was also present in the midfield to add an extra man into the midfield and outnumber the opposition. Moreover, he took advantage of his pace to outrun the opposition on the left flank as he provided a constant
threat in the final third. His unmatchable pace got him the first chance of the game but he was not able to finish the opportunity and it could have cost the Argentineans the game if it hadn’t been for Nicolas Otamendi’s header which helped the team win the
game. Besides the chance that he missed in the first half, Angel Di Maria had an outstanding game for the Argentinean side. He was running into the opposition players timelessly and he pressurized them and did not allow them to take control of the game in
the midfield. He was present on the left flank all the time and a few of his crosses could have found the back of the net if it hadn’t been for the Venezuelans defending deep into their own territory. Overall, an outstanding game by the Real Madrid star.
