Venice FL and Shark Teeth?

Going to Venice to go shark tooth hunting... has anyone been there? If so any tips? Time of day? Good location?

I actually lived in Venice for four years, and now moved up to Sarasota. Venice is known to be the shark tooth capital of the world. Best time to go is first thing in the morning upon sunrise. The tides wash up during the night, and you will have a better chance of finding the teeth. Close to Sharkys on the Pier is your best bet. Good Luck and Have fun.
