  1. ROME!!!

I've been to both and they are both truly amazing, but you will never see anything like Rome. Even just sitting outside eating outstanding food and people watching is unlike anything you could imagine!

  2. Depends on what you are up for...

Rome is amazing. There are A LOT of things to see, awesome restaurants, and great night life. However... two days is not very much for Rome. You may feel rushed and overwhelmed. Just when you start to figure the city out, you're going to have to leave.

Venice is an incredible place too... but much smaller. You can adequately see Venice in two days. There's museums, cathedrals, and plenty of pigeons. Take a ride on a gondola and visit a Murano glass factory.

Honestly... due to your short amount of time, Venice might be a better option. Save Rome for when you can spend at least 5 days there. But neither city is a bad decision. You'll love either one!

  3. well if I get two days each why choose? but If i had too probably Venice, I'd dig deep into the culture though not just tour stuff.

  4. no doubt!!!rome!!i'm from rome and it's better that venice!!in 2 days u can take the bus for visit the most important places

like colosseo,p.zza di spagna, piazza del popolo, fontana di trevi, piazza navona..there are a lot of interesting things!!

    come to rome!!

  5. I've been to both, and would return to Venice in a heartbeat.

Rome definitely has a lot of cultural and historical sites, which are fascinating.  It's also large, dense and busy.  Venice has the culture and history, but the beauty is overwhelming.  Plus, no cars!

  6. I pick Rome, because it's a romantic place to be. Do site seeing, shopping. there is nothing much you can do in 2 days in any country. Is it worth it?

  7. i have been to both and if I had only two days and had to opt for one city it would be Rome without doubt .. there is so much to see and to that you will find two days is not enough .. have a safe and enjoyable trip!

  8. Rome is by far a city you will be sorry if you miss.  The Sistine chapel, the Roman forum, Colosseum, gorgeous churches that will move you to tears, and just the complete beauty of the city and looking over at a hillside and seeing the olive trees.  It's a lot of walking, thousands of steps, and up and down hill after hill so wear comfortable shoes.  We went in April and it was a little chilly off and on.  dress in layers.

Just know that you'll get hooked and one visit won't be enough.

I enjoyed Venice but after about a day you'll have seen enough to be satisfied.  I was a little disappointed in some of the landmarks here because they had more of a flea market atmosphere and I was expecting to see history.

  9. Venice, I always wanted to see how they have life living in a city on water.

  10. No doubt. It will be Rome..

  11. rome for sure.  there is so much more to see.

although, if you were to spend them in venice, you'd walk away feeling as if you'd really seen the city.  can't say that about rome.  it would take a solid week to get sick of rome.

    they're both amazing.

  12. Rome, especially since I only got 3 day there anyway..

  13. Rome
