Ventura cruise .......?

Question

Has anybody been on the new cruise ship ventura or has anybody booked to go on it ?

Would like to know what its like ! :)

Haven't been on the Ventura but have found reviews from people who sailed on her in May. You may find them interesting.

Remember that the Ventura is a new ship and has not really had time to work up to top standard and the reviews are from individuals who may have expected something different.

I was on the pre-inaugural.

It was OK.. the service and food were all pretty good, it as the ship that left me feeling rather indifferent.  It is a big ship and there are some impressive features.  I just felt it lacked atmosphere, and didn't feel particularly British.  In fact, it didn't feel as if it was trying to appeal to any particular nationality, and was somewhat bland in its decor.

Ships take a while to "bed in.." - I am sure food and service will continue to improve.
