  1. http://www.wikipedia.org

    It's all right there in a table for you.

  2. Venus:

    A rocky planet with a surface temperature of 867 Degrees F. The core of Venus is thought to be molten and solid iron and nickle materials.

    There is a silicate crust and a rocky mantle floating on top of the molten core. The planet spins around very slowly and in the reverse direction from the spin of Earth. This is also the hottest planet in our Solar System.

    Atmosphere: 96.5 percent Carbon Dioxide, 3.5 percent nitrogen and trace gases combined with constant shower of sulfuric acid droplets.

    The atmosphere on Venus is about 50 Miles high.

    One Venus Day = 243 Earth Days.

    So half of a complete Venus Day would not be measured in Hours;

    it would be 243/2 = 121.5 Earth Days of Daytime, and 121.5 Earth Days of Nightime.

    One Venus Year (Total Orbital Period for complete orbit around the Sun) = 224.7 Earth Days.

    Distance from the Sun (on average) 67.2 Million Miles.

    Venus has no moons.

    Venus is somewhat smaller than the Earth in size with a diameter of 7,521 Miles. Earth's diameter is 7,926 Miles.
