  1. They do well on raw meat, but not cooked.

  2. NOTHING - VFT DO NOT NEED TO EAT. They survive happily without ever eating a thing, you should never feed them anything

  3. Insectivorous plants such as the Venus fly trap, sundews, and pitcher plants, do not need to be fed insects or meat to survive.  As others have mentioned, you can "feed" them meat but there is a risk of the meat rotting from bacteria and killing the plant.  If you want to see the traps close, simply take the erasure end of a pencil and lightly touch the trigger hairs in the leaf!

I had a mini-bog in a large brandy glass that had a cover over it to keep the humidity up.  All the insectivorous plants thrived in it without a single visible insect being consumed!

  4. Yes i feed mine raw beef make shure remove any fat and then feed a bit half the size of a blue bottle and dont over feed it...

  5. Yes you can feed it raw meat, but only a little otherwise you will kill it.. And don't get tickling the hairs just to see it snap shut or it will die of starvation.

These fly trap plants really do need a lot of TLC.

  6. Don't even think about it, You will kill it.

I'm his missus, and he has to meddle with things.
