Verbal warning by officer on driving through yellow light?

just out of curiousity if the officer didn't ask for license or any identification for driving while obeying on speed limit on yellow light (didn't realize the light turned red the second i got past the stop light..)... would that show up on my records?

  1. verbal warnings don't show up on your records or insurance...they make a record of the encounter but don't mark it down as an offense.


  2. No, that will not show up on your record. Warnings will never show up on your record. Only written tickets will show up on your record.

  3. is there some kind of law against driving thru a yellow light?

    that'd be news to me, after 35 years of driving.

  4. it's possible to get a written warning but it does not go on your record
