Verizon's Pay Per KB for smart phones. HELP PLEASE.?

Am i still going to pay 1.99 per mb?

i have a palm centro. on the site it says that each kb is .015cents, that would come out to 15 dollars per mb.

help me

  1. Normal phones are $2 per megabyte, as you mentioned. But the PDAs and smart phones are more expensive. One megabyte is about 50-100 webpages so if you think you'll be a heavy browser each month, go for the comprehensive data plan which is only about $15-30 monthly, depending on your estimated (predicted) usage levels. For my BlackBerry Curve it is $30 no matter what. If you don't already have the Centro, check to see if they require that you purchase a data plan with the phone. I know that's the case for all BlackBerry devices purchased new in the store.


  2. cell phone companies usually charge more for data on PDAs. so expect high charges. get a plan, unlimited for x amount per month. at&t charged me like 20 bucks
