Verizon's touch screen or a qwerty? ?

Question

nowadays, ive been wondering if the touch screen is good.

I'm NOT planning on buying a voyager. (too big for me!)

something slim or small is nice; i text a lot; the touch screen seems cool; but is it worth trying instead of a qwerty?

tell me the price and features, too.

this is my first verizon phone, so i don't know much.

touch screens are risky to get. They use up alot of battery, and have the potential of breaking easier.

Personally, i dont like the touch screen, so i say go with an EnV2. Its a great phone packed with cool features, like a full QWERTY keyboard, a decent camera, and an alphanumeric keypad for calling.

If you want internet browsing on your phone, i recommend a Blackberry Curve. it has a full QWERTY keyboard, a good camera, and a good media player.

I got mine a week ago and it's such a nice phone. I'm glad to have it for the next 2 years. The price is $199.99 with a 2 year contract. It is a non-smartphone. it has access to mobile web, email and mobile IM. it has a virtual qwerty keyboard which is really easy to type on. The phone is sleek and feels lightweight after having it for a while. It has many more features like the customizable shortcut meny, the display theme: black or white and the choice of wallpapers. The 3.2 megapixel camera has flash and auto face detection. There's so much more I could tell you but I can't think of all of it right now.

* If you do get the dare or any other touch screen phone purchase a screen protector [ verizon sells them in packs of 3 and it comes with a screen wipe] and a case [ leather or silicone]. this way your phone will be protected from scratches and other types of damage*

Touch Screens are hard to text on because you can't really go that fast. The phones with the qwerty keyboard make texting much easier. Maybe you should consider a blackberry.

touch screens are always risky to get.. i have the voyager and the screen cracked without me doing anything to it. Just be careful if u decide to go with the touch screen.
