  1. Verizon Wireless uses CDMA which does not use SIM Cards. GSM like AT&T and T-Mobile are the only ones that use SIM Cards.

It really doesn't matter if the phone is prepay or not since almost any contract phone can be activated on prepay and almost Verizon prepay phone can be on contract.

The way you can determine if it is meant for prepay, you can take off the battery and near the model number or ESN number there would be a PP which stands for prepaid. It really makes no difference.

  2. Verizon does not use SIM cards. You call a number to activate it.

  3. all verizon phones dont have a sim card

  4. no its not a prepaid phone verizon never used a simcard which does suck in a way but in another way it stops people from stealin phones ha! but if you want to activate it call *611 or go to verizonwireless.com and log in.. if you need to register just put ur number as the user name and it works like that also.. But if you try to activate it and its under the "lost" or "stolen" lists you can NOT activate it
