Verizon FIOS DVR Box?

Is it possible to upgrade my hard drive in this box? It is a motorola, and if so up to what size can I put in it.

  1. Your best candidate to ask this question would be Verizon.  I'd call them if I were you.


  2. No you cannot.  The boxes are set to the max.  When there is an upgrade, Verizon sends it out automatically through your router.  You don't need to do anything.  There are some options on the HD/DVR boxes that have not been activated as of yet.  If you try to open the box and mess it up, you could be charged big $$$ for the box, or at least void any warranty you may have
