Verizon FIOS DVR ???

Question

how do you schedule to record a show when your aren't there and how do you record one show on one channel while watching a show you aren't recording on another channel???

If you aren't there you have to go into the DVR and search for the show you want to watch and then mark it to record it.  

If you are there, you select the show you want to record and push record.  You can then switch to live tv and watch what you want.
