Verizon FIOS Question..???

ok...we got verizon fios and now we can't watch dvds...the tv says something about HDMI and i was wondering if you could watch verizon on just the regular channel 3...beacuse we had dish network and it was on channel 3

That depends how the STB (set top box) was hooked up.  If you have coax going from the STB to the TV, then yes you have to watch it on chnl 3.  If you have HDMI cords then you have to look @ the back of the TV and see if they are going into HDMI 1 or 2.  While back there, also look to see what plug-in holes the DVD is using, that is the setting you have to put the TV on.  You need to use the TV remote to change the settings on the TV as the FIOS remote will not do that function.
