Verizon FIOS seems to be very slow in implementing new HD channels. Does any one know why?

I have noticed that Cox, Dish and Direct TV services have more HD channels than does Verizon FIOS. When I call Verizon and ask if they are planning to add more HD they state they don't know . Does any one have insite as to their plans or should I make the switch to another company.

Verizon can only add the HD stations as they get the contracts to do so.  Negations take time.  They cannot provide a service signal that they don't have a license for.

Well they are new in the business of TV. So there going to take a while to get some channels. I suggest you switch if your an HD enthusiast.
