Verizon FiOS NBC digital signal weak?

Question

Okay well I have my Verizon FiOS cable hooked directly up to my HDTV. I am recieving all the local channels except NBC. It'll try to load the image for a few seconds but then it will say digital channel signal strength is low. I used to be able to but recently i haven't been able to. I live in the New York area if that helps. I also have already tried rescanning for channels with my TV but still no luck. Please dont recommend I get an HD cable box.

If you are getting the other stations, the problem is with the signal from your local NBC affiliate.  If the problem were with the FIOS you would be having probs /w all stations.  A lot of stations are testing, and/or reprogramming their signal in preparation for the conversion to the digital signal in Feb of 09.

Well, getting an HD box wouldn't help, but I suggest to get over the bad weather and wait.
