Verizon Fios SOYO lcd REMOTE code

Question

i have Verizon fios in the NY area

i have a 37 inch SOYO lcd

and a Fios Motorola HD receiver BOX and need the code..

why cant company just make a remote that will "copy" the code from the original remote (like me xbox 360 DvD remote)

ANY HELP!!!!
