Verizon Fios Tv vs. Comcast?

Question

We're patiently waiting for Verizon Fios to be available in our area. We currently have Comcast but we have a really old box (like 7 or 8 years old) It sucks major balllls. Some of the channels don't work and on demand never works correctly. So anyway. If you had Comcast cable and switched to Verizon Fios or you just have Verizon Fios Tv....what do you think about it? Better or worse? What's the deal with on demand? Opinions? Rants? comments? whatever. thanks in advance.

I cannot speak more highly of fios.  The picture looks great on all channels, its fast, cheaper, lots of high def channels now and there service doesn't have nearly as many problems as comcast.  They have on demand just like comcast.  I personally hate comcast due to there lack of quality and poor service.
