Verizon Fios VS Verizon DSL?

Question

I have Verizon DSL right now and interesting in Verizon Fios. I have a contract on the DSL account and not sure if I wan to upgrade to Fios then what I need to do to transfer or sign up new and still need to full fill my contract? Will Verizon ok let me cancel the DSL and sign up Fios? Anyone out there has fall into this situation?
