I am thinking of switching to another service because my other is horrible. I have heard many things about both Verizon Fios and Optimum Triple play. Which one is better? If you could, in the answer show what the prices are

thank you

  1. Verizon is far superior because of:

They use a proud union work force, not contractors that get paid by the job or their raises are dependendant on the number of jobs that are done in a specific time frame. You can be sure that your job will be done to the highest of standards. No HACK and RUN jobs here

It is extremely faster with speed choices of 5/2, 15/2, 15/5, & 30/5

Satellite depends on the weather, areal blocks such as trees, wires etc. Cable is distributed via coaxial line and the signal is shared by your neighborhood and then brought to a hub where other neighborhoods are connected into and then another where several areas are then connected before it goes to the distribution signal.

FIOS is a glass fiber line from your home directly back to your local central office. You share your signal with nobody!

As far as the cost that is difficult because of all the different options that are avaliable

You have your land line options such as caller id, call waiting, call forwarding etc...

You have your different Internet speeds as stated above

You also have the different STB (set top box) options of HD, HD DVR, Std, Std DVR. Along with viewing options of multi room, HD, and don't forget about the movie/sport/foreign language packages.

You can also bundle in your cell phone plans too.

There are also different taxes depending on what state you live in.

So to give you a base line package price is virtually impossible. Sorry to be so vague, but there is no answer to your question.
