O.K. I have 2 Phones from Verizon Wireless

2.) http://www.gearlive.com/blogimages/gallery/chocolate_backbox.jpg

I have a family plan and for some reason I am ending up to pay $200 dollars a month, actually not even a month, it barely gets to a month and they bill me and lock my phone services if I don't pay within the week or so. I barely use the phone, only emergency and use phone on weekends sense it gets free of charge on weekends for a couple of minutes. I use phone cards on weekdays sometimes, but like I said I barely use the 2 phones. Phone No.1 listed up above is mine. Phone No. 2 listed up above is my mom's. Every day i check how many minutes i get used. By the month total hours & minutes add up to be around mostly is 10-13hrs or even less most of the times. Any one got any idea what i should do. My plan ends up in May of 2009, But I got no choice, I am willing to give up more money to get out of this service. I'm planing of using I-Wireless plan. Any suggestions of what I should do and am I really getting ripped off?

  1. call *611 and complain if they say theres nothing they can do just pay the $175 a phone to cancel the phone service. I have them and i agree there ripping you off cause i have 3 lines 700 minutes and unlimited texting for the whole family plus a $15 data plan and were only paying $155 with taxes

  2. call them and find ot what EXACTLY they are charging you for..they will read off a list and they might say something that you didnt order in your plan...companies will throw in things to charge you more, so they can get more money...

  3. Do you have overages on your cell bill?  If so, you are probably on the wrong plan. Cell  co bills are based on minutes not phone calls so using a phone card is counter-productive. You get charged for the minutes anyway. Remember, you are being charged a month in advance so if you haven't paid last month's bill by the due date, depending on your collection path, your phone will be turned off. Call customer service and discuss your rate plan.  If you decide to change DO NOT let them extend your contract!
