Verizon Wireless texting problem!?

I have verizon wireless and i text ALOT! but lately when i text my friends it doesn't get the them for another 30 mins to an hour later, this isn't every time but happens often enough. Does anyone know why ot how i can solve this problem?

Are you sure you are in network? Beucase when my husband goes to work he is out of the network area (in a shack surrounded by hills and mountains on the water LOL) So i sometimes don't get his messages or it takes hours to get them or to send them. So, maybe you are out of the area, or in the library (where the walls could slow the signal like in the hospital. I was told its the walls it could be something else) But maybe that is it. Also log on online at their site and check your bill and phone plan. Do you have unlimited txt to EVERYONE? I do, I made sure we did. I have a 16 year old sister on my plan. haha.! So, that is the only reasons that I can think of. The customer service is FANTASTIC!  I have verizon. You can call and ask, and you will get someone pretty fast. And it does not matter how stupid you sound they understand. I always ask stupid questions.

call verizon. it may just be they dont have service or theres too much activity (network wize)
