My husband is deploying and while he is in Iraq is it going to raise my bill by him calling me from there? I don't have a land line only a cell. If he calls from the phones the army provides in Iraq will verizon charge me for getting incoming calls from an international number?

  1. No, you are not charged anything additional to receive a long distance or international call--  only to place a long distance or international call.  The minutes will be deducted from your normal minutes bucket on your plan as long as these are incoming calls only.

  2. If you have verizon it can happen to you
