Verizon fios problem?

when i press da guide button it says no program name i need help

I don't have Fios but here are some things you can do.

1. Reset your set top box by un plugging it

2. check your connections

If none of these things work, call Verizon

Try to recycle your stb (set top box). To do that just pull the power plug out of the back of the stb. Wait for 60-90 sec's. Put the power back into the box. Wait for the box to cycle the reprogramming. When you put power back the box will cycle thru several stages. You will see several codes displayed, you will be able to tell when it is all set because your clock will be displayed. That is call a soft boot. If that doesn't work, you will then have to call and have the service rep do a hard boot. They will be able to "zap" your box right from the office over the phone. If that doesn't work you will need a new stb.
