Verizon is s******g me over?

Question

Before I got FiOS, my average charges were in the $70 range.

When I got the FiOS service along with the phone, my total bill comes out to be $180.

Now this is troubling. Anybody else get screwed over by this company via ordering similar service and stuff?

No, not me.  I knew what I was ordering and what I would be paying because I asked the questions.  I knew what each internet speed would cost, the cost of the different STB's (set top boxes) standard vs HD, nondvr vs dvr and the multiroom feature. I also knew what my landline options would cost me.  I was very well informed before I signed up for Verizon FIOS.  If you had inquired to any of the above, I doubt that you would have been so informed.  Verizon just does not charge you for something without your prior authorization
