Verizon question please?

i wannit to know, if theres a charge, if i wanna change a phone, but keep my family plan. so i just wanna change the phone itself, not any plan, number, etc. is this free or is there a charge?

you really need to provide further information.  How far into your existing contract are you?  You said family plan, are you the primary?  Do you have a phone you want to put on your number?  Do you want a new phone?  Only with this information will anyone be able to provide you with even the slightest information.
